Bust of a Woman

15 Nov

Plaster sculpture Picasso acThe last image I’ll post from my visit to the Picasso Exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum in 2010 is a drawing I sketched from one of his plaster cubist pieces; ‘Bust of a Woman’. The original is more feminine than my rendering which looks a little like a bust for one of the early presidents. All joking aside, I like the strength of line that came out in my sketches which seems a fitting response to the strength and magnitude of Picasso’s work.
