Dreams for a Child

05 Oct

I have had time to create one more piece for my upcoming display of work at Vancity at Suter Brook Village at 121 Brew St., Port Moody, BC. The exhibit starts tomorrow and will be up until the end of November.

This particular work, Dreams for a Child, developed in a similar way to the Seekers by looking for symbols from the paintings of the Stories to Tell series and bringing them together in this piece. Still it became a work in its own right and has taken a new, rather illustrative direction that I find inspiring. I look forward to exploring the possibilities for new work that are presented by this shift in style.
