Next week, Wednesday evenings, my watercolour class at Place des Arts begins. Spring is a perfect time of the year to teach or take a watercolour class as watercolour is great for painting outdoors and easy to take along when traveling once summer arrives.
Personally I enjoy the medium because of its fluidity and the range of styles and techniques one can use with watercolours. This particular class, East meets West, is really two courses in one as you learn traditional western watercolour techniques as well as the more calligraphic Chinese brush style to complement and enrich the conventional approach.
See upcoming classes in the tags above for more information on the class or click on Place des Arts in the blog roll to register.
