Muse at Rest

04 Jun

Muse at Rest is now on display at the Port Moody Public Library. She is one of the few pieces I’ve made a face with features for and simply because it felt like the right thing to do. It is this intuitive sense of creating that makes doll making fun and rewarding.

The dimensions for this piece are: 7” X 8” X 4” The medium is fibre, mixed media and the face was made from polymer clay with tiny glass beads as eyes. The leaf is a plaster cast/papier mâchè of a dried leaf from a house plant.
