Another slice of the painting (left side) shows 3 more of the figures who inhabit this dream-scape painting. Based on the figures from my Stories to Tell show they depict Mother and Child, Keeper of Owl Stories and Grandmother Prairie Chicken. Where these archetypes come from is a bit of a mystery but has a lot to do with experiences in life that are personified into personally symbolic figures. The fun part is when these images resonate with others and they bring their own interpretations to the colourful characters.
